What is Copper Nickel Busbar?

Copper Nickel Busbar, commonly referred to as CuNi Busbar, is a robust composite electrical conductor made from copper-nickel alloys, typically CuNi 90/10 or CuNi 70/30 compositions. This high conductivity CuNi alloy combines the excellent electrical properties of copper with the superior corrosion resistance of nickel, making it ideal for marine applications.

The Copper Nickel Busbar is typically composed of 70-90% copper and 10-30% nickel, with trace additions of iron and manganese to enhance resistance to seawater corrosion and erosion. Small variations in alloy composition can optimize the material's performance for specific high-conductivity needs in harsh environments.

Our Copper Nickel Busbar is available in widths from 10mm to 200mm, thicknesses from 1mm to 20mm, and lengths up to 3000mm, ensuring versatility for power distribution in marine vessels, offshore platforms, and chemical processing systems.
